Post Some questions about cuffs and toe cut...
Hey ev'rybody...

i got some questions about cuffs. what I wanna know is what cuff is lowest. i guess the best thing would be if somebody could list all the valo skates considering the cuff height.
from highest cuff to lowest cuff. because i have got the tan jj1 and wanted to know what cuff of all the other valo skates are. i might consider it when buying my next valos^^

the next question is about the toe cut. i saw a video tutorial with victor arias about toe cutting the AB1. and my question was...would that have any positive effect on my jj1s? because my jj1 are juuust~a little bit tight and wanted to know if it would be an option.

Take care

I think the AB. 1 has the lowest cuff, not sure though.

Toe cut would most likely help you. Toe cut is good for wide feet.

I did a V-cut for my fashions, which was really needed.

Toe-cut is definitely a good thing, your toes can move more freely. And my friend has the JJ1 and 2 and he also did the toe-cut, with the same result.

It's basically the same as the low cutted cuffs from remz. From what I heard the Tv2 were produced in a more bendable plastic. Which would eliminate the need for a v-cut on them...

But I always skate with a v-cut, otherwise my ankle-ligaments are stretching too much.

Not that hard bro, remove the skins, draw a line of how much of the cuff you would want to cut out. The more you cut out the more flex you get, but also, the less support you get from your cuffs. The cutting can be done with a really sharp knife or with a spinning sharpening tool which basically scrapes of the plastic very smoothly.

You can probably find a video online on how to do it. You'll be amazed at how many videos there are online on customizing skates.

;)
